Pregnancy is a stage where pregnant women have different concerns regarding to their diet and exercise behaviour and there is a range of decision they have to make all day long. No doubt, nutrition during pregnancy is crucial to mothers' and their babies' health and may have life-long consequences on them. Whereas, any activities that have a high risk of falling, getting hit by others or objects are not encouraged, e.g. ice-skating, basketball, dancing in night clubs. Of course, the duration and intensity of physical activity that pregnant women can perform depends on their individual fitness levels. For those with little or no physical activity habit prior to pregnancy, they are recommended to begin exercising gradually with an appropriate one. Medical professionals no longer discourage pregnant women to avoid physical activity if it is considered as "low impact", e.g. swimming, running, aerobics and cycling (*in gym) rather, pregnant women just need to modify the duration and intensity as the pregnancy progresses. In the last decade, there has been a growing body of research that supports the positive association between exercise during pregnancy and the emotional/physical/health benefits on both pregnant women and babies. While they are not restricted from things that pregnant women aren't supposed to do in real life. A mod that encourages diet and lifestyle behaviours during pregnancy not only add realism to the game but also educates those have little knowledge on this aspect.
